Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has announced the
importance of ‘Whale Daughter’ in the budget for daughters.
Our government is committed to the integrated development of
women, children, adolescent girls and pregnant women. Provide supplementary nutrition
and health education to 59 lakh beneficiaries through Anganwadi Centers through
Integrated Child Development Scheme.
To increase the birth
rate of the girls, to strengthen their sociol-economic status, to reduce the
dropout rate in education and to prevent child marriage, I announce to
introduce a new scheme of our sensitive government for the daughter daughter
scheme where the daughters of the first two children of the family will be
eligible for the benefit of this scheme. Under this dear daughter’s plan Rs.
When Rs 4000 comes in ninth standard, another Rs.6000 and when your daughter
crosses the age of 18, you will be given Rs 1 lakh. The daughter-daughter
scheme will help in preventing female feticide and will encourage girls’
education and get a bigger amount for the higher education and her marriage,
when the daughter becomes an adult, the benefit of the girl daughter’s scheme
will be available to the family with annual income of Rs 2 lakh annually. For
this new scheme, Rs. 133 crores provision.
